CSP research conducted by the Dauenhauer group explores the Intrinsic Reaction Kinetics of Polyethylene Pyrolysis. Polyethylene (PE), a commonly found material in modern life, faces significant limitations in current recycling methods.
Through a technique known as PHASR, new insights into the underlying reaction kinetics of PE pyrolysis were obtained, enabling improved recycling capabilities. The employed PHASR system in this study was capable of operating without any transport or kinetic measurement limitations, which distinguishes it from other pyrolysis systems documented in literature.
